Did the Fall Destroy Ability to Choose God? Mauler Truth Cartel vs StrangersToJesus

After the Fall, can a person turn to Christ using a power they've had all along... or does God have to change the heart first before anyone can respond? That's the one question ‪@MaulerTC‬ and I spent tonight testing against Scripture. The heart of the case: Genesis 8:21: after the flood wipes out every wicked person on earth and resets every outward condition completely, God says the human heart is still evil. The problem was never the surroundings. Romans 6:23: if death is the payment for sin, and death reaches people who've never personally sinned, something is being passed down from Adam that isn't just bad luck. 1 Corinthians 4:7: "what do you have that you did not receive?" If the ability to turn to God was never touched by the Fall, it's the one good thing about a person that didn't come from Him. This was never Calvinism against free will. Plenty of Christians who reject Calvinism completely still don't believe the ability was never lost, it's a much older and wider question than one denomination arguing with another.
