Why everyone is deleting Duolingo right now (me too)

I thought I was downloading a language learning app. Turns out, I entered a relationship with the most manipulative owl on the internet. Duolingo's passive-aggressive notifications, AI tracking, and guilt-trip tactics are straight out of the toxic ex playbook. From "You made Duo sad" to "Keep Duo happy," this app has mastered psychological warfare disguised as education. Respectfully... I hate that I'm more afraid of disappointing a bird than actually learning Spanish. #duolingo #respectfully
