James Gunn's DCU: A TRAINWRECK in the Making!!

Has James Gunn’s DCU experiment already fallen apart? After years of promises about a fresh start for DC, finished scripts, better planning and a unified universe, the new DCU has now faced controversy after controversy — from Henry Cavill’s Superman exit and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman situation to the performance of Superman, Supergirl, Peacemaker, Creature Commandos and the increasingly divisive creative direction of DC Studios. In this video, I break down what I believe is the monumental fall of James Gunn’s DC Universe and ask the question DC fans are increasingly debating: Was James Gunn ever the right person to lead DC Studios? This isn’t about pretending the Snyder era was perfect either. Zack Snyder failing does NOT automatically make James Gunn successful. The question is whether DC has genuinely improved under its new leadership — and whether the numbers, audience interest and creative decisions actually support the narrative that the franchise has been “saved.” • Henry Cavill’s controversial Superman departure • Gal Gadot and the cancelled Wonder Woman 3 plans • Ben Affleck’s comments about returning to DC • James Gunn’s handling of the old DCEU • The Suicide Squad and its disastrous theatrical performance • Creature Commandos and DCU streaming interest • Peacemaker Seasons 1 & 2 • Superman’s massive budget, marketing campaign and box office performance • Whether Superman actually succeeded theatrically • Supergirl’s box office collapse • How Supergirl compares with Morbius and Madame Web • Lanterns and the controversy surrounding its creative direction • Clayface, The Brave and the Bold, Paradise Lost, Booster Gold and Waller • James Gunn’s promise of completed scripts before production • The future of DC Studios • And whether the entire DCU strategy needs another major reset From Superman and Supergirl to Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the wider Justice League universe, DC owns some of the biggest characters in comic-book history. So how did we get here? Watch till the end and decide for yourself. 👇 SOUND OFF IN THE COMMENTS: Has James Gunn SAVED the DC Universe… or is the DCU heading toward another reboot?
