V/Line Trains at West Tarneit

West Tarneit station, on the Geelong line in Melbourne's outer west, is Melbourne's newest station, opening on September 13, 2026. Built on the Regional Rail Link, the station serves the rapidly developing suburb of Tarneit along with nearby Tarneit station. Here we have an unstaffed, ground level station with two side platforms connected via a pedestrian subway, with each platform providing three entrances with ramps and stairs. There are also separate cycling and pedestrian paths in the precinct. This station, unlike many others in Melbourne that are newly built or rebuilt, is pretty much complete on opening.
