🌽 Corn harvest is underway in Central Illinois. Caught up with Wade Farms, just south of Bloomington, Illinois, as they were harvesting corn running around 24% moisture. Early yields are running at least 15% below their normal so far. Always good to spend some time around the Case IH AF Series combines. Wade Farms made the move from three combines down to two AF Series machines, and it was good to see them working in the field. You’ll also notice the 15-inch corn rows. This is their 7th year with 15-inch corn, after three years of testing 15-inch versus 30-inch rows before making the switch.
