BMW n52 E90 Rod Bearings Removal PT1

I’m working on my 2011 BMW 323i E90 with the N52 inline-6 engine, and in this video I’m removing the oil pan and inspecting the rod bearings to find out why the engine was stuck and wouldn’t crank. I go underneath the BMW, remove the oil pan, inspect the connecting rods and rod bearings, check the crankshaft journals, and look for signs of bearing failure, scoring, metal debris, and possible engine damage. This BMW N52 engine repair is part of my full E90 project, where I’m troubleshooting the engine, investigating the bottom end, removing and replacing rod bearings, inspecting the crankshaft, checking the oil pump and pickup, and working toward getting the car running again.
