MGSΔ Snake Eater - Halloween-Themed Foxhound Rank Playthrough (E-Extreme)

October special! I've done plenty of MGS Delta content this month so what better way to close it off than with a Halloween-themed run. This is a FOXHOUND rank playthrough with some extra challenges/rules and other things inspired by the season. I was contemplating on which version of MGS3 I should play, and I ended up choosing Delta because the previous "season special"-challenge run (Santa Snake) that I did was in the original MGS3 (HD edition) so I felt like Delta should get one of these too. That's not the only reason or even the main reason though, because I absolutely wanted to have the Guy Savage nightmare sequence included in a Halloween-themed run, and the HD edition of MGS3 doesn't have it for some reason while Delta does and it's even an expanded version of it that is very Halloween-esque, so the choice was clear in the end. Here's a rundown of this playthrough's challenges/rules: European Extreme difficulty, New Style, earn the FOXHOUND rank (the highest rank in the game) Mummy Uniform & Zombie Face Paint only. They fit the Halloween theme and while the Mummy camo prevents serious injuries that require bandages (except scripted ones), it also has a weaker than normal camo index which makes things more challenging (there are a couple of short segments where you're forced to wear a specific camo but this applies outside of those) Vampire Bats & Cobalt Blue Tarantula Spiders are the only allowed sources of stamina recovery for Snake Complete the Guy Savage nightmare sequence No using Items in a way that grants any sort of an advantage. The only exception to this is using the fake death pill to break out of the cell because I wanted to do it that way in a Halloween-themed run No skipping the optional Ocelot Unit encounter in Tikhogornyj. Aside from the main ones, there are also many smaller things that I wanted to do to keep up with the Halloween theme: Kill many enemies indirectly (via methods that don't add to your kill count. Beating Ocelot and Volgin (in the 1st fight) via lethal methods is also allowed, however back when I did this run I didn't remember that so I re-recorded those two fights and did them lethally to stay on theme) Reach the end of The Sorrow's river (because that whole segment simply needed to be included in this run) Use fake death pills to surprise/scare certain enemies & also use Tree Frogs to scare Volgin Do the codec calls about vampires and Snake's nightmare Include the ending cutscenes with the hidden first person view scenes (I really just wanted to show the reunion of The Boss' and The Sorrow's ghosts, but then thought that I may as well include all of the hidden first person scenes in the ending - this was something that I did after having already completed the playthrough which is why the completion time in the Results screen doesn't quite match the length of the video).
