LEEK TOWN 2 2 ASHTON UNITED NPL Premier Division, home, 11 October 2026

Leek Town produced a remarkable second-half fightback to draw 2-2 with Ashton United at home, having trailed 2-0 at the break through a Nathan Okome strike (against his former club) and a sloppy Spencer Knight goal born from a lost throw-in. Josh Brehaut's bold triple substitution and formation change at half-time transformed the game — Jack Griffiths' half-volley on 66 minutes pulled one back, before Man of the Match Griffiths turned provider deep into injury time as Alex Hurst tucked home a dramatic leveller. Griffiths almost stole all three points moments later with a shot smothered by the keeper. A point rescued from the brink that extends Leek Town's unbeaten run. 🎵 AI-generated hip hop track telling the story of the match — full lyrics inspired by the official match report. 🔵 Follow Leek Town's season all the way through on Full Time Bars. #LeekTown #AshtonUnited #NPLPremier #NonLeagueFootball
