My First Parkrun in Japan POV (Hikarigaokakoen, Tokyo)

Parkrun is a community 5k funrun held every Saturday all over the world, originally in the UK. Here we tried running the Hikarigaokakoen Parkrun on 22nd August 2026. Was a great fun experience despite it being a very hot day! Highly recommended just to see how the Japanese run things which is quite different e.g. coordinated warmups, group photo, earlier start at 8am and a fun atmosphere!
