Join us as we explore one of Jakarta’s most famous cultural attractions! From riding the Jakarta public transportation system to exploring Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, riding the cable car, renting an e-bike, and making a quick stop at Monas, this was another fun and memorable DIY travel day in Indonesia! 🎥✨ If you're planning a Jakarta DIY itinerary, looking for Taman Mini Indonesia Indah travel tips, transportation options, entrance fees, cable car prices, and our actual travel experience, this vlog is for you! ❤️ 🏛️ TAMAN MINI INDONESIA INDAH – JAKARTA 📍 Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) 🇮🇩 Jakarta, Indonesia Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is a huge cultural and recreational area where you can experience different aspects of Indonesian culture, architecture, traditions, and regional heritage all in one destination. Instead of simply visiting one attraction, we wanted to explore TMII on our own and experience what it was like to get around the area using different transportation options. 🚲🚠 And yes… it's BIG! 😅 🚆 HOW WE GOT TO TAMAN MINI INDONESIA INDAH Our journey started using Jakarta's public transportation system. 🚉 OUR DIY ROUTE Bogor Line – Red Line 📍 Cawang Station From Cawang, we continued toward the LRT: 🚆 LRT Cawang Station 🚶 Approximately 1.7 km Then we headed to: 📍 Stasiun Taman Mini / Harjamukti – Cibubur Blue Line Getting around Jakarta by public transportation became part of the adventure itself! 🚆🇮🇩 🎟️ TAMAN MINI INDONESIA INDah ENTRANCE + ACTIVITIES Once we arrived, it was time to explore Taman Mini Indonesia Indah! 🏛️🌴 🎟️ Entrance 💰 54K IDR 🇵🇭 Approx. ₱204.42 We also checked out GOERS / Selat, where we spent: 💰 25K IDR 🚠 GANARA + CABLE CAR EXPERIENCE One of the fun parts of our TMII adventure was riding the cable car! 🚠😍 🚠 Cable Car 💰 50K IDR each 👫 100K IDR for two 🇵🇭 Approx. ₱367.55 The cable car gave us a different perspective of the massive TMII complex while we traveled above the grounds. Definitely a fun addition to the itinerary! 📸✨ 🚲 EXPLORING TMII BY E-BIKE Because TMII is such a large area, we decided to rent an e-bike to make exploring easier. 🚲 E-Bike Rental 💰 205K IDR 🇵🇭 Approx. ₱776.02 This was a great way for us to move around the area without having to walk everywhere. 😅 If you're planning to explore multiple sections of TMII in one day, transportation inside the complex is something worth considering. 🚌 SHUTTLE TO THE LRT After our TMII adventure, we used the shuttle to get back toward the LRT connection. Then our journey continued through Jakarta's rail network: 🚆 Dukuh Atas → Cikoko 🚆 Cikoko → Cawang 🚆 Cawang → Juanda Another full day of navigating Jakarta's public transportation! 🇮🇩🚆 🗿 QUICK STOP AT MONAS We also wanted to visit: 📍 Monas – National Monument Unfortunately, we arrived at around 5 PM, and Monas was already closed for the day. 😅 But we weren't leaving without a souvenir! 📸 We still managed to take some photos outside. ❤️ Sometimes travel doesn't go exactly according to plan — but you can still make the most out of the moment! 💰 OUR TAMAN MINI INDONESIA TRAVEL EXPENSES Here are the expenses we recorded during our TMII adventure: Activity Cost 🎟️ TMII Entrance 54K IDR 🍽️ GOERS / Selat 25K IDR 🚠 Ganara Cable Car 100K IDR / 2 pax 🚲 E-Bike Rental 205K IDR 🇵🇭 Approximate PHP conversions are based on our recorded expenses and may vary depending on the exchange rate. 🧳 TAMAN MINI INDONESIA DIY TRAVEL TIPS ✅ Plan your route before going to TMII — the area is huge! ✅ Consider an e-bike or other transportation option if you want to cover more ground. 🚲 ✅ Check the cable car operating schedule and availability before your visit. ✅ Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. 👟💧 ✅ Allow plenty of time to explore — don't rush your visit. ✅ If you're planning to visit Monas on the same day, check its operating hours first so you don't repeat our 5 PM experience! 😅 ✅ Keep some cash in Indonesian Rupiah for food and smaller expenses. ❤️ OUR TMII EXPERIENCE Our visit to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah was another reminder that traveling around Indonesia is not only about the destination — the journey is part of the experience!
