Hi, I'm Alin 😊 Welcome to Rural Market Days — a series exploring China's village markets, one village at a time. In this episode, we visit Qianwei Town, a rural market in Xi'an, Shaanxi. Held every three days on the lunar calendar, this market brings together farmers, food vendors, and craftspeople from nearby villages. You'll see freshly fried dough sticks and pancakes, steamed buns, hand-made liangpi, sticky rice with dates, and a giant wok of braised vegetables. We also meet a 72-year-old scallion seller, a grandma selling sun-dried corn, and a grandpa who has made local sticky rice food for over 40 years. No narration, no interviews—just the sights and sounds of a real Chinese country market. Come along and experience the life, food, and people of rural Xi'an. If you enjoy real life in rural China, local culture, and Chinese street food, subscribe and join the journey! =========================================================== #Xian #XianMarket #TraditionalChineseFood #ShaanxiFood #ChineseCountryLife #ChineseCountryMarket #RuralChinaMarket #ChineseStreetFood #VillageLifeChina #RuralFoodDocumentary #RuralChina #UnseenChina #AlinFoodWalk
