Why Blizzard Chose Skyborne Instead of High Elves

Blizzard considered Thalassian High Elves before creating the Skyborne for World of Warcraft: Forever. So why did they choose to invent an entirely new elven race instead? In this episode of Voices of Azeroth, D0 follows that question from High Elves and Quel’Thalas to Zephras, Skywall, the Windshapers, the High Order... and a mystery involving Al’Akir that still doesn’t have an answer. Was creating the Skyborne worth it? Let me know what you think. Voices of Azeroth explores the stories, mysteries, places, and unanswered questions of Azeroth through the characters who live there. #WorldofWarcraft #WoWForever #Skyborne
