Solatrike II. France 6. Cannes to Nice

My trip around the world continues. This leg of my bike tour through France takes me from Cannes to Nice. It’s not a long ride, but there’s heaps to see. We ride along the coast to admire the beautiful beaches, visit the “Walk of Fame” in Cannes, and check out the Bonnard and Picasso art galleries. In Antibes, there’s another Picasso museum, as well as the Archaeological Museum and the Gallery of Humorous Art. A large statue greets visitors at the harbor, and we continue our journey along the beaches. A short detour takes us to Biot, a medieval village perched on a hill. Afterward, we explore the city of Nice with its museums, art galleries, and beautiful sights. Finally, we take the ferry to Corsica. The Solatrike II is a solar- and muscle-powered recumbent trike that has so far covered 58,000 km across 5 continents and 28 countries on its round-the-world journey. Join me on this leg of the adventure. This film was shot from September 17 to 24, 2026. Enjoy the daily struggles of this unusual adventure of a solar powered e-assisted recumbent trike trying to ride around the world. One thing is sure: it will continue... Cameras, Cut, Sound, Music and Producer in one is d-t-b (Dave the Beaver, aka David Brandenberger) himself. He's a photographer and not a videographer. The videos are just a by-product. If you're annoyed by the shaky videos, feel free to donate a gimbal to him.
