Based on the U9, the Xtreme features a 1,200-volt electrical architecture, four high-performance electric motors, advanced torque vectoring, and BYD's DiSus-X active suspension system. Its four motors produce more than 3,000 PS (approximately 2,200 kW), giving it an extraordinary power-to-weight ratio of around 1,217 PS per tonne. The U9 Xtreme achieved an officially verified top speed of 496.22 km/h (308.3 mph) at Germany's ATP Papenburg test track, making it the fastest production car in the world.
