Glider Circuit at Fricktal (LSZI) to Runway 24 at Les Eplatures (LSGC) (360 degree video)

Because of the fog, which forms at this time of the year over the plateau in Switzerland, there aren't that many options to fly to nearby Fricktal Schupfart. Les Eplatures is a favourite of mine as you can see by the many videos of this route. I hate to be too repetitive but on this flight there are two new aspects. First because of fog to the north of Fricktal Schupfart I was forced to use the Glider circuit which is a tight right hand circuit for Runway 07. I've been told by previous instructors that to use this circuit a flight instructor must be onboard. However because of the fog the club's Chief Flight Instructor advised me before I set out to take this route to reduce the risk of flying over fog at low altitude in case my engine failed. There were no gliders flying at the time of my departure. Second the winds at Les Eplatures favoured Runway 24. This runway has an approach over La Chaux-de-Fonds a small city to the immediate east of the airport. Final approach is flown between two apartment buildings so it is a little bit more exciting than the opposite runway, which is more usually the active. The aircraft in the video is a Piper Super Cub HB-PLQ hired from the Motorfluggruppe Fricktal.
