The Most Arrogant Cop Thinks She's Untouchable — Gets OWNED Immediately in Court! I'm Jason. After 30 years in the justice system, I break down real cases so you can see how the law actually works. Today's case comes out of Colorado Springs, Colorado - the trial of a man named Clint Tabb, charged with vehicular eluding and motor vehicle theft. The case rested almost entirely on a single eyewitness: a police officer who, driving past in the opposite direction, caught about a three-second look at the driver of a truck he believed was stolen. He never stopped the truck and never saw the driver again that day. Roughly two weeks later, the detective leading the case showed that officer a single photograph of Tabb and asked if it was the man he saw. He said he was ninety-five percent sure. There was no lineup, no array of other faces, and no neutral officer administering the process - all safeguards the department's own written policy calls for. On the stand, the detective testified that those procedures were not necessary because the witness was a fellow officer rather than a civilian, and acknowledged she had not reviewed the policy before testifying. A second officer with more experience agreed that the rules apply the same way regardless of whether the witness wears a badge. The judge dismissed the theft charge before it reached the jury because the prosecution never established the truck was stolen, and the jury found Tabb not guilty of the remaining charge. This video walks through the testimony and the identification procedure that the defense challenged. DISCLAIMER The content on this channel is for educational and informational purposes only.
