Judge SHUTS DOWN 4 Cops After the Most Illegal Arrest! I'm Jason. After 30 years in the justice system, I break down real cases so you can see how the law actually works. Today's case is People of Michigan v. Tanea Tubbs. On June 8th, 2024, four Detroit police officers spotted a truck with no plate at a gas station. Instead of walking up and asking about it, they went straight for the vehicle, already searching it and getting ready to tow it away. Tanea Tubbs walked out to find four officers going through her truck, and she let them hear about it. She raised her voice. She got angry. And for that, they put her on the ground and arrested her. The city threw the book at her: disobeying a lawful order, disorderly conduct, plus tickets for the plate, a suspended license, and no insurance. Judge Ramsey-Heath went to the bodycam and took it apart charge by charge. No lawful order was ever given, so there was nothing to disobey. Raising your voice at police is protected by the First Amendment. And before any of it, the officers skipped the entire investigation and went straight to the arrest. No probable cause on a single count. Everything dismissed. DISCLAIMER The content on this channel is for educational and informational purposes only.
