here it is! the thing that was voted for in the polls :] hope you all like it! i had a lot of fun making this (despite the fact i got ill towards the end of working on it and now i am absolutely drained haha i'm honestly surprised i could finish this today) lore time: a lot of this stuff i've covered before in descriptions of previous videos, so i'll be sure to keep those parts brief, but in summary: Eclipse is someone who's been through a lot. she died at a young age, her father brought her back to life by building her a robot body and imbued it with her soul which allowed her to live again. because of this, she has intense body dysphoria, especially because her father decided to give it a lot of robotic features - it was well within his capability to make her pretty much identical to an organic being, but he thought she would like it better as she was always interested in his robotics. because of this dissonance, her mind isn't doing too great. struggling with depression, insomnia and psychotic episodes, she feels disconnected from reality a lot of the time. while this animation doesn't cover these so much, i thought i'd add them here as i don't think i've mentioned that aspect before. a lot of the time, she wishes she'd never died and blames herself for it. she eventually gets a job as an archaeologist after her father passes, working with Mintie (a character who features in other animations of mine!) to unearth ancient artefacts and study them. then, one day, she comes across a strange ritual mask. it speaks to her, trying to entice her to put it on, which is something she ignores at first because she's used to hearing voices, but eventually she comes to realise it's completely real when really bad things start to happen. _ the original meme:    • Why love Me? Original meme FLIPACLIP ANIMA...   the song:    • Skyper - The Flight   _ yay probably my most traumatised OC of them all and that's saying something
