Generative Ambient Particles in Bitwig 6.1 — Fragments Mode + Modulators

In this tutorial I build a generative particle sound generator from scratch using the new Sampler in Bitwig Studio 6.1 — Fragments mode, linked Grain Size and Density, maxed Playhead Motion, and a stack of Steps and Random modulators that keep the texture evolving on every pass. Then we drop it into a proper musical context with chords, drone melody and bass generated in Ether Harmony. Nothing here is locked to my sample. Load your own grainy, movement-rich source, remap the modulators and the whole thing turns into a different instrument. Grainy sources with plenty of internal movement and textural change give the best results — but experiment with whatever you have lying around, push the parameters and see what happens. The key I picked (C minor) is arbitrary. Use whatever key you like — just switch on Snap to Key so the sprayed notes stay in it. The pad preset used on the chord track is also built around the Sampler.
