Blue Ridge Barns, North Carolina — Art for Your TV | Painting Screensaver (1 Hour, Silent)

The personal one. This painting was made from a photograph I took myself on a Blue Ridge morning — August 21, 2019: two red barns with silver roofs along a winding gravel road, an old wagon resting by the barn, fence posts in the pasture, and morning light breaking through the clouds over it all. Painted here in the gallery's dramatic style, with the light deepened the way that morning felt. A one-hour silent ambient loop for your television. NC Uncovered preserves North Carolina's true stories and places for the next generation — this series was made with my grandchildren in mind, and this piece is a piece of my own North Carolina.
