But thanks to the weather, there were very few tourists, which meant I got to enjoy the usually bustling streets of Kurashiki at a slow, relaxed pace. I wandered through the historic Bikan Historical Quarter, taking in its beautiful scenery. And the udon I had along the way was absolutely incredible! Even on a rainy day, it was one of those trips that made me think, "I'm so glad I came." Kurashiki in the rain has a unique charm that's completely different from visiting on a sunny day.
