The Story of Martha | Extraordinary Animated Bible Story of Service and Devotion

Martha is often remembered as the woman who was busy serving while her sister Mary listened to Jesus. But her story goes far beyond that moment. When her brother Lazarus died, Martha faced grief, disappointment, and a delay she could not understand. Before the tomb was opened and before she saw any miracle, Martha made one of the clearest declarations of faith in the Gospels: Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God. Her journey reveals a faith shaped through correction, waiting, sorrow, and an unforgettable encounter with the One who declared, “I am the resurrection and the life.” 📖 Scripture References: Luke 10:38–42 | John 11 | John 12:1–8 🎬 Video Chapters: 0:00 Intro 1:00 Martha’s Family in Bethany — Mary, Lazarus, and Jesus 1:56 Martha Welcomes Jesus — Serving while Mary listens 2:51 Martha’s Frustration — “Tell her to help me” 3:26 “Martha, Martha” — Jesus corrects her with compassion 4:48 Lazarus Becomes Sick — The sisters send for Jesus 5:50 Jesus Waits Two More Days — A difficult delay 6:25 Lazarus Dies — Grief comes to Bethany 8:08 Martha Runs to Meet Jesus — Faith in the middle of sorrow 9:44 “I Am the Resurrection and the Life” — Jesus reveals who He is 10:22 Martha’s Confession — “You are the Christ, the Son of God” 11:10 Mary Meets Jesus — Jesus weeps with the grieving family 12:42 At the Tomb of Lazarus — “Take away the stone” 14:08 “Lazarus, Come Out!” — Jesus raises him from the dead 15:16 The Miracle Changes Everything — Belief and growing opposition 16:11 Jesus Returns to Bethany — Martha serves again 18:15 Martha’s Transformation — From anxiety to enduring faith In this story, you’ll see: ▶ Martha welcome Jesus into her home in Bethany ▶ Mary sit at Jesus’ feet while Martha becomes distracted by serving ▶ Jesus lovingly correct Martha’s anxiety and priorities ▶ Martha and Mary send for Jesus when Lazarus becomes sick ▶ Jesus delay His arrival while Lazarus dies and is buried ▶ Martha run to meet Jesus despite her grief ▶ Jesus declare, “I am the resurrection and the life” ▶ Martha confess Jesus as the Christ and the Son of God before seeing the miracle ▶ Jesus weep alongside those mourning Lazarus ▶ The stone be removed after Lazarus has been in the tomb for four days ▶ Jesus call Lazarus out of the tomb alive ▶ Martha later serve Jesus again without the earlier recorded complaint or comparison #martha #lazarus #maryofbethany #jesuschrist #biblestories #bibleanimation #animatedbiblestories #biblestory #newtestament #biblecharacters #biblicalstories #christiananimation
