By the mid-19th century, Topkapi Palace was no longer the primary residence of the Ottoman court.
As imperial life gradually shifted toward Dolmabahce Palace, Topkapi entered a quieter chapter. The halls, courtyards and chambers that had shaped centuries of Ottoman history remained, but the rhythm of daily court life began to fade.
The Last Court reflects this transition through ney, tanbur, kemenche, kanun and oud, supported by restrained percussion, warm low strings and spacious ambient textures. The music is reflective, dignified and bittersweet, evoking the end of an era without turning toward tragedy.
Instrumental only. No vocals.
