Охота на вапити с луком в Вашингтоне, 2026

For some background on this hunt and why it was so short, I allocated almost all of my time off to hunt for two full weeks in MT. This meant I was only able to hunt on the weekend. We also had staged supplies at a campsite so that’s why we had to hike in so far. We thought it would be easier and quicker to get there than it was, which was a pretty big miscalculation. We also thought we would be able to hunt more as we hiked like we did with the bull we called in so close. But once that was over it became very clear we needed to put all our focus into just getting to our designated camp site. We won’t ever do it this way again. Live and learn! Thankfully we still had moments of fun.
