Leg 18 of the North Cotswold Diamond Way - Northleach

Brunch in a prison! - that's one way to finish a walk. The Diamond Way is a 66 mile waymarked trail that explores some of the most beautiful North Cotswold towns and villages. Starting in Moreton-in-Marsh, the route is walked anti-clockwise in a roughly diamond shape. The route was created by the local Ramblers group to celebrate it's 60th anniversary. The whole route can be covered in 30 circular 'Sparkling Walks' and I am walking each one with my spaniel Danny (rescue Sprocker). We will travel through some beautiful villages with beautiful golden stone houses and hopefully a pub or two! For Leg 18 we parked at the Old Prison in Northleach and headed to the village of Turkdean. There we picked up the Diamond Way for the return to Northleach and a well earned brunch.
