Gen X Reacts & Relates I Jinjer "Perennial Live at Wacken 2019" I So much energy and emotion!

🔥 *GEN X REACTS & RELATES | JINJER – PERENNIAL (LIVE AT WACKEN 2019) | EPISODE 143* 🤘 🍂 ❄️ 🌸 ☀️ *Four seasons. One incredible performance. And the circle of life!* Welcome back to another super fun episode of Initial Music Interpretations! Today, we're heading back to Ukraine to experience JINJER performing *“Perennial” LIVE at Wacken Open Air 2019!* After exploring Pisces and *Judgement & Punishment*, I thought I had a pretty good idea of what to expect from JINJER. Boy, was I wrong! 😂 Right out of the gate, the drums had me wondering... did we just go from metal to punk rock?! And then there's Tatiana Shmayluk! Her beautiful clean vocals and those incredible growls almost sound like two completely different instruments, each bringing its own emotion to the song. But what really caught my attention was the idea of *Perennial* and the changing seasons. 🍂 *FALL:* Change, endings, and letting go. ❄️ *WINTER:* Life slows down, everything becomes dormant, but there's still beauty in the silence. 🌸 *SPRING:* Rebirth, renewal, and the excitement of life returning! ☀️ *SUMMER:* Sunshine, beaches, swimming pools, and embracing everything life has to offer! Now, I could be completely wrong about the meaning of the lyrics, but that's the fun of exploring music together! We all hear something different, and sometimes a song takes us somewhere completely unexpected. And knowing this was the final song of their Wacken set makes the performance even more impressive. What an incredible way to finish a concert! 🙏 *SPECIAL SHOUT-OUTS!* A huge thank-you to *@jorgesam_ and @jeffwellman2883* for recommending this performance!
