救世主になると誓った少年は、百年の物語の果てに何を赦したのか。 原曲は『機動戦士ガンダムAGE』の劇伴「ガンダムAGE～100年の物語」（作曲：吉川慶、ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Vol.1 収録）。作品全体を貫くメインテーマです。※本曲はスーパーロボット大戦では未採用です（ガンダムAGEはスパロボBXに参戦）。 フリット・アスノは、ヴェイガン（当時はUE）が初めてコロニーを襲った「天使の落日」の日に生まれました。7歳で母マリナを失い、その死に際に託されたのが、アスノ家に代々伝わる「AGEデバイス」――ガンダムの設計図を収め、起動キーにもなる小さな端末です。14歳、彼はその設計図からガンダムAGE-1を造り上げ、「救世主」になると誓います。 けれど、守れなかった少女ユリン、散っていった仲間たちの記憶は、やがて彼を「全てのヴェイガンを殲滅する」という憎しみへ導いていきます。守るために握ったはずの力で、いつしか自分が奪う側に立っていた。 最終決戦、セカンドムーンへミサイルを放とうとする彼の前に、孫キオのガンダムAGE-FXが両手を広げて立ちはだかります。その姿は約半世紀前、コロニーを守ろうとしたAGE-1そのものでした。家族と仲間の声、そしてユリンの「自分を許して」という想いに触れ、フリットは敵を赦し、自分を赦し、本当の救世主になります。 アレンジは原曲の荘厳なオーケストラをそのまま土台に、ドラムとギターを重ねたシンフォニックロックへ。静かなピアノから始まり、サビは半分のテンポで大きく歌い上げ、最終サビで転調します。サビ2行目は「救うための剣」→「言い聞かせた刃」→「赦すための両手」と、一生の変化に合わせて書き換わっていきます。 アスノ家三代（フリット／アセム／キオ）を歌うガンダムAGEシリーズの1曲目です。 ───────────── 🌐English What did the boy who swore to become a savior finally forgive, at the end of a hundred-year story? The original track is "Gundam AGE ~ The Story of 100 Years" from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE (composed by Kei Yoshikawa, ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Vol.1) - the main theme that runs through the whole series. *This track has not been used in Super Robot Wars (Gundam AGE itself appears in SRW BX). Flit Asuno was born on the "Day of the Fallen Angel", when the Vagan (then called the UE) first attacked a colony. At seven he lost his mother Marina, who handed him the AGE Device as she died - a small unit passed down in the Asuno family that holds the Gundam's blueprints and serves as its start-up key. At fourteen he built the Gundam AGE-1 from those blueprints and swore to become a "savior". But the memory of Yurin, the girl he could not protect, and of the comrades he lost slowly turned him toward hatred - "every last Vagan must be annihilated". The power he took up to protect others made him, before he knew it, the one who takes. In the final battle, as he prepares to fire a missile at Second Moon, his grandson Kio stands in front of him in the Gundam AGE-FX with both arms spread wide - the same pose as the AGE-1 protecting a colony half a century earlier. Moved by the voices of his family and comrades, and by Yurin's wish that he forgive himself, Flit forgives his enemy, forgives himself, and at last becomes a true savior. The arrangement keeps the grand orchestra of the original as its foundation and adds drums and guitars for a symphonic rock sound. It opens with quiet piano, the chorus is sung big in half-time, and the key rises for the final chorus. The second line of each chorus changes with his life: "a sword to save" → "a blade I kept justifying" → "two hands to forgive".
