Somnus 晦の夜の夢 | Final Fantasy XV 太空戰士XV | Piano Collection Composer: Yoko Shimomura Arranger: Sachiko Miyano The long awaited Final Fantasy XV Piano Collection scores finally arrived at my doorstep last month. Honestly speaking, every single one of them is so well-written, to the extend that I feel like covering all on this channel. And no doubt I shall start with the most iconic theme on the main antagonist of the Final Fantasy XV universe: Somnus. Though I have not played FFXV before, I've tried to capture the essence of the original piece while also adding my own interpretation to it. Luckily it resonates with me quite well, I can just go on with my own pace and execute it with my instinct haha. Is the game worth playing? Feel free to answer me in the comment below if you had any experience with FFXV. On a side note, I thought I couldn't produce anything this week as I only managed to come back from vacation last Thursday. Since then, life has been so hectic and I'm basically on marathon mode everyday. I shall be proud of myself for making it in the end. :) Hope you will enjoy the video and the performance! (I am still in transition from Windows to Mac, this is the very first video I made using Final Cut Pro, I hope the standard is on a par with the rest. Learning curve is so steep, but cheers to the real 4K, haha.)
