Blest Be The Moonlight

Blest Be The Moonlight Composer: Yoko Shimomura Arranger: Sachiko Miyano I’m finally back to recording after the long vacation. Life has been so hectic since then, I scarcely got the time to produce this, and I still have so many beautiful pieces in hand that I want to share with all of you! This is like a sequel to ‘NOCTIS’ that I played before I departed for the vacation. And I personally find ‘LUNA’ even more beautiful than that. I especially love the climax starting at 2:04, it makes all the buildup so essential. I truly enjoyed playing that part every single time. This is also the second recording I did after treating the room’s acoustic. The time spent on experimenting different mic positions/distance, the gain of the inputs etc. is always so much more than the time I spent on playing and recording.. Every production is a bittersweet experience, after all, together with the pain of conquering the construction sound and bird chirping. Hope you will enjoy the result and my performance! KelticLago, Alex V., Justin Lin and Tsu for your generous support to my production! :) ---------------------------- Production Setup: Piano: Yamaha YUS5 SH2 Microphones: Soyuz FET 013 pair mics Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen Laptop: Macbook Pro (M2 Pro chip) DAW: Logic Pro X Video Editting: Final Cut Pro Tablet for sheet music: Windows Surface Pro 7 ---------------------------- Find me on: Instagram:   / xiaotongpiano   Facebook:   / xiaotongpiano   Twitter:   / xiaotongpiano   Enquiries and collaboration: xiaotongchin@gmail.com ---------------------------- Support me by Buying me a coffee: https://ko-fi.com/xiaotongpiano PayPal me: https://paypal.me/xiaotongpiano #finalfantasyxv #LUNA #太空戰士15 #studymusic #relaxmusic #therapeuticmusic #animemusic #videogamemusic #femalepianist #Singaporepianist #yamahaYUS5 #soyuzmicrophones
