Food sealing for long term food storage - I am proof that our free trade agreements are working!

Today I am cooking, slicing, and sealing for long term freezer food storage. I portion broccoli, turkey and beef, and show you the vacuum sealer we just bought. This product is from China shipped from the company's warehouse in Ontario. We paid zero tariffs. The entire setup cost $450. Canadian, taxes included, shipping was free. It came by Purolator with tracking. Handy honey & I are thrilled with this unit, it is so pro. So with our new upright freezer setup, we have lots of freezer storage. I use a system of the little freezer in the fridge in the kitchen has everyday items, fruit, veggies, jars of cat food for immediate use. The upright freezer in the basement has veggies, raw food for cat food, everyday meat/dinner items of the grab & go style. The chest freezer in the basement has long term freezer storage; whole chickens and turkeys, legs of ham, sale bacon, and sides of beef/pork.
