The ENTIRE History of Nintendo in 10 Minutes

In 2013, Nintendo's Wii U was collapsing and analysts told the company to quit making consoles. Here is the entire history of Nintendo in under 10 minutes: how a tiny hanafuda playing card shop founded in Kyoto in 1889 survived failed businesses, the 1983 video game crash, the console war with Sega, the Sony deal that created the PlayStation, and the Wii U disaster, and came back every time. From Fusajiro Yamauchi's card shop to Hiroshi Yamauchi, Gunpei Yokoi's "lateral thinking with withered technology", Shigeru Miyamoto, Satoru Iwata, the NES, Game Boy, Wii, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, this is the story of gaming's most stubborn empire, and the one pattern behind every comeback.
