Rosing at Manokan Country Bacolod 🇵🇭 Chicken Inasal Dinner After the FIBA Game

After watching the Philippines play Singapore at the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup 2026 SEABA Qualifiers in Bacolod City, my wife and I headed straight to Manokan Country for dinner. The tournament was held in Bacolod in June 2026, and it was exciting to see an official international FIBA youth competition happening here in the City of Smiles. For dinner, we returned to one of our usual favorites: Rosing at the new Manokan Country beside SM City Bacolod. Rosing has been one of our regular choices whenever we eat at Manokan Country because we really enjoy their chicken inasal. In this vlog, we also feature one of their longtime cooks who has been grilling chicken since before the Manokan Country vendors transferred to their present location. Of course, eating Bacolod chicken inasal also means preparing the perfect combination of condiments! My wife demonstrates her mix of soy sauce, vinegar, and salt, while I show how I like my rice with chicken oil and fried garlic on top. Simple, smoky, flavorful, and very Bacolod.
