Valmiki Caves – A Journey Into the Heart of the Hill 🕉️🌿 Our visit to the Valmiki Caves was a truly unique spiritual experience. The cave is situated high on the hill, but as we entered inside, the path gradually took us deep into the mountain, almost down to the ground level. Walking through the naturally formed rock passages gives you a feeling of entering another world quiet, ancient and deeply meditative. According to local tradition and belief, Maharishi Valmiki is associated with this sacred place, and it is believed that he performed deep meditation here. There is also a belief that parts of the Ramayana were composed here. Deep inside the cave is a fascinating Kailasa-like sacred space, where we found Udbhava Murthy of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara, along with an Udbhava Basavanna. The natural rock formations, the darkness of the cave and these sacred manifestations create an atmosphere that feels both mysterious and deeply spiritual.
