Juliane Koepcke was 17 when LANSA Flight 508 broke apart in the air over the Peruvian rainforest on Christmas Eve, 1971. She was the only survivor. This is her true story: the fall, the days following water through the Amazon, and what happened afterwards, told with maps and animation from her own account, interviews and published sources.

Main sources:
• Juliane Koepcke and LANSA Flight 508, Wikipedia (English and Spanish)
• ExplorersWeb and La Nación (Argentina) reports on her survival; Koepcke's 2012 BBC account, cited second-hand
• Accounts differ on some points: 10 or 11 days in the jungle, which side of the plane the lightning hit, who rescued her and how long the canoe trip lasted; the video flags this and does not give false precision.
Narrated with a synthetic voice. Original illustration and animation. The diary "entries" are reconstructions from testimonies, not original documents.
