Green Trail mtb fun at Lebanon Hills in Minnesota in 4K. I was in Minnesota for work for a week and decided to try riding at Lebanon Hills. I did not bring my bike and I could not find any convenient and inexpensive mtb rentals so I bought a cheap Walmart Ozark Trail hardtail to ride for the week. This isn't a "Walmart Bike" video, but my quick summary the bike was reasonable, the one thing I wished is I chosen a bike with hydraulic disc brakes, but none were available close by. They do sell a version with the brake upgrade. The mechanical disc brakes were better after some adjusting amd I am comparing them to my 4 piston hydraulic brakes on my Giant Trance at home so it isn't a fair comparison. The true summary is I rode the bike for the week and it did what I needed it to do, also riding something different gives you a great appreciation for your own bike. I recognize how much my bike fits me beyond just sizing and contact points, but everything about it that makes me comfortable on the trail and gives me confidence. The park and trails where very well maintained, everyone I met was super nice, and I enjoyed the ride and look forward to exploring more of the trails in the future.
