Murphy-Hanrehan MTB Singletrack! Send it!

Earlier this year I rode Murphy-Hanrehan and followed Justin through it all. This is the first and only time I've rode there. My frame was making some horrible creaky noises which kind of put a damper on the fun I had because it was annoying me so much. I didn't make this video earlier because it was hard for me to even watch the footage with how much my bike noises annoyed me and I was almost just going to scrap this ride. I finally sat down and watched through the footage and thought there was some good stuff so I made this video. Hopefully my creaky bike doesn't annoy you too much. Murphy has some fun stuff with some cool skinnies, rock rolls, nice flow and fun rooty sections. I had been up north a lot riding Duluth, Cuyunna and Tioga before riding here so I had been kind of spoiled with good riding and metro trails just don't really compare to that stuff. So I felt kind of let down by the riding at Murphy because I heard good stuff about it but I actually do think it's one of the better trails in the Metro. The combo of riding more progressive trails before this and my bike making horrible noises made me think it wasn't as fun as it actually is. Follow Justin @weneedthoserocks I'm riding a Salsa Rustler and filming with a GoPro Hero 7 Black I think it was the flip chip in my frame that was making most of the noise. I took it out and greased the hell out of it which stopped the creak so if you're having the same issue with your Salsa try greasing the flip chip.
