History of Karachi. Was it a part of Sindh or Balochistan? Who are the aboriginal people of Karachi?

Karachi is the largest populated city of Pakistan and it is the most diverse city in the country. The history of Karachi has been contested by Sindhi and Baloch nationalists. The former claim that it has always been a part of Sindh and natives of the area are Sindhi, whereas, the latter claim that it has been an integral part of Balochistan and it was founded by Baloch tribesmen.
