A Wannabe BushRadical — Canadian Edition

french will follow; Just to be clear, I'm the 33 years old Bushradical wanna be. Last year, I was given a huge stack of 2x4s, and I didn’t want to let them go to waste. So this felt like the perfect opportunity to build something down by the river. In many ways, this cabin is an homage to Bushradical. Like him, I wanted to keep the music simple and record it the way I’d actually play it around a campfire—just picking up the guitar and playing whatever comes to mind. By trade, I’m an electrician, but there’s something pretty satisfying about stepping away from the tools I normally use and swinging a hammer for a while. D’une certaine façon, cette cabane est un hommage à Bushradical. Comme lui, j’ai voulu garder la musique simple et l’enregistrer comme je la jouerais autour d’un feu de camp — en prenant simplement la guitare et en jouant ce qui me vient à l’esprit. Je suis électricien de métier, mais ça fait vraiment du bien de mettre mes outils habituels de côté et de prendre un marteau.
