This week, we continued exactly where we left off. The inner trays for our workshop drawers were ready — so now it was time to install them and turn each drawer into a two-level storage space. But we didn't stop there. We also started building three new shelves for the workshop, using as much scrap and reclaimed wood as possible. We measured, cut, squared, planed, glued and clamped everything together — including a slightly unconventional clamping setup for the largest shelf. The three shelves will eventually go into different parts of the workshop, including the large central workbench. 00:00 Intro 00:35 Installing the drawer trays 01:30 Two levels of storage 01:37 Building three workshop shelves 02:35 Measuring and cutting the wood 09:15 Preparing the large shelf 04:20 Gluing the shelves 11:20 Our unconventional clamping method 12:03 What's next? And there's still plenty to do. Next week, we'll finish the shelves and move on to two important areas of the workshop: 🔧 The sink and faucet area 📦 The upper storage shelves The workshop is finally starting to come together. If you've been following the build, thank you for coming along for the ride. And if you're new here — welcome. This entire workshop is being built step by step, largely from reclaimed and salvaged wood. Subscribe and follow the next stage of the build.
