The drive begins on NE 163rd Street in North Miami Beach, heading west before turning south on West Dixie Highway and west along NE 135th Street. Under heavy, dark cloud, the route runs west on Opa-Locka Boulevard through Opa-locka, then drops onto I-95 southbound. State Road 112 carries the drive west toward Miami International Airport, and Le Jeune Road leads south toward Coral Gables. From Coral Gables the route turns north on South Dixie Highway (US-1) and rejoins I-95 northbound, then threads through the city on NW 3rd Avenue, NW 3rd Street, and North River Drive. NW 7th Avenue runs north for a long stretch before NW 111th Street, NW 6th Avenue, and NW 125th Street lead east to North Miami Avenue. A series of NE streets in North Miami Beach follows, then Biscayne Boulevard north and NE 163rd Street east close out the loop where it began. The sky carries the story.
