Yarrabah is the traditional Country of the Gunggandji and Yidinji peoples and has a strong connection to culture, Country and the sea. 🏖️ Yarrabah Beach Yarrabah Beach stretches along Mission Bay and offers beautiful views across the water and surrounding mountains. The main beach is approximately 3.3 km long, with a narrow sandy shoreline and extensive tidal flats visible at low tide. 📍 Yarrabah Jetty – Gribble Point One of the highlights of the Yarrabah coastline is the impressive Yarrabah Jetty at Gribble Point. The modern jetty and pontoon were officially commissioned in September 2022. The jetty is approximately 165 metres long and was developed to improve marine access and connectivity between Yarrabah and Cairns while also providing a place for community recreation and fishing. The design incorporates artwork and Traditional Owner totems created for the project by a local Gunggandji artist. 🌴 About Yarrabah Yarrabah is an Indigenous community in Far North Queensland, southeast of Cairns. It sits on the Cape Grafton Peninsula around Mission Bay and is surrounded by tropical mountains, coastline and the waters of the Coral Sea.
