This Waterfall Chase Did NOT Go as Planned

I set out on my bike looking for Karweti Waterfall, also known as Biskarweti Waterfall, in Githunguri, Kiambu County, Kenya. I had never been there before, and honestly, that was reason enough to go. The plan sounded simple. Follow Google Maps, find the waterfall and see what happens along the way. After hours on the bike, I thought I was finally getting close ...just 2 km to go. Then somehow, the next time I checked Google Maps, I was 4.6 km away 😂. Somewhere along the way I'd taken a wrong turn. Going back wasn't an option in my head, so I gambled on a backroad I'd never seen before, hoping it would somehow reconnect me with the waterfall. Eventually Google Maps told me I'd arrived... except there was no waterfall. And somehow, getting lost was only the beginning. This is Episode 6 of my Waterfalls in Kenya Series and waterfall number 10 on my journey to discover waterfalls around Kenya. But as always, the waterfall is just the destination.
