SWFL Eagles 4-22-26. STUNNING SUBADULT CHECKS OUT THE NEST & POND! + Nest Work & THE HERD!

Video opens with a stunning subadult visitor arriving at the nest tree. The subadult lands on the inner limb. When going to the nest, the subadult misses the landing, recovers to the outer branch, then goes to the nest. While on the nest, the subadult tidies up the nest, aerating and moving a stick. CamOps provides close-up views on Cam1. The subadult then heads to the pond, where he/she is pestered by crows. This time of year, the smaller birds around the pasture are nesting. They will pester the eagles to protect their own little families. While at the pond, the subadult gets sips and wades along the shore. The pasture horses stroll along the bank in the direction of the subadult, who moves away along the bank in front of them. Boy, young subadult, you sure are comfortable around those horses! 😉😂 After moving ahead of The Herd a few times, the subadult flies to the office oak, where the crows continue to pester. The subadult leaves the office oak, appearing to head E/NE. Safe travels, young eagle! Come back when you need a bath!
