SWFL Eagles ~ A BEAUTIFUL SUB ADULT Visits Nest & Pond! Horses Flush It To Office Oak! 🐴🐴🐴 4.22.26

E26 was last seen on April 17th at 12:37pm flying off the old cam 2 tree heading east. We have not seen E26 since this departure. It is unknown if E26 is with M15. M15 did not visit the nest today but he was seen by our ground photographers. Later in the afternoon, a beautiful sub adult flew in to the nest tree - landing on the inner limb and then it missed the nest, flew to the outer branch and made its way to the nest. The sub adult looks to be about 2.5 - 3 years old based on its coloring. It's eyes are turning yellow, its beak is starting to turn yellow and it had the salt & pepper feathers on its head, back and wings. The sub adult will move that big stick that has been in the center of the nest to the rails! The sub adult will fly to the pond for sips and walking along the waters edge. Three of the pasture horse will start to walk towards the SA and flushes it to the office oak. It does not stay there for very long and will fly off. I don't know who this eagle is but it sure is a beauty! Thank you for watching! Died of Blunt Force Trauma most likely by Vehicle hitting her. E26 fledges & returns on 3/10/26 at 6:32PM E26 last seen flying east on 4/17/26 at 12:37pm. E26 is 120 days old.
