“Blindness is not a barrier to leadership. What matters is having a clear vision for the betterment of society.” Mohammad Ahmed Khan, a final-year ITEP student at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), is contesting for a position in the university’s newly revived Students’ Union cabinet. As a visually impaired student, he believes he can represent the concerns of students with disabilities while raising the wider issues affecting the student community.
