Home vs. Clinic vs. School: Where Should ABA Therapy Happen?

Home, clinic, school, the grocery store, or over telehealth. Where your child receives ABA therapy changes what they actually get out of it, and most families are never told that. Home sessions build generalization and pull the whole family into the work, but peer interaction is limited and cancellations pile up. Center based therapy delivers the social skills and school readiness that home cannot, but parents lose day to day visibility. School based services can be the right call for an older child struggling in the classroom, until administration tells you that you can only come Tuesdays from 11 to 1. Community sessions and telehealth fill gaps neither one covers.
