Psalm 20 - We Trust in Your Name Verse 1: When trouble comes and shadows fall, May the God of Jacob hear your call. May He send His strength from His holy place, Lift you up with His unfailing grace. May He see each sacrifice you’ve made, Every prayer you’ve faithfully prayed. May He bless the dreams He’s placed inside, As His mighty hand becomes your guide. Pre-Chorus: We will lift our voices high, Knowing God is standing by. Chorus: Some trust in chariots, some trust in swords, Some place their hope in the strength of this world. But we will trust in the name of the Lord, Faithful forever, our shield and reward. Though others stumble, though kingdoms may fall, Our God is faithful through it all. We will stand, we will proclaim, Our hope is in His holy name. Verse 2: Now we know the Lord will save His own, From His heaven He has made it known.
