Coronation Street, Annie and Hilda

Coronation Street: A classic encounter between the imperious Annie Walker, landlady of The Rovers Return Inn (played by the wonderful Doris Speed) and her 'indisposed' cleaning lady, Hilda Ogden (Jean Alexander). Needless to say Mrs Walker sallies forth and wins the argument. A superb script, brought brilliantly to life. RIP Doris Speed - very sadly missed. http://tinyurl.com/o33vtc8
