UGANDA turned out to be one of the most under rated countries we ve been to - from the one hour spent with the Gorillas and watching them go about life in their natural habitat at the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; to the time spent with the lionesses climbing down and up the trees and then snoozing away less than 20 feet away from us at the Queen Elizabeth National Park; to following a lone Hyena early in the morning as soon as we entered Queen Elizabeth National Park the following day; to the thrill of watching two hippos fight at the Kazinga Channel; the chimps running on the trees at Kibale Forest National Park which is known to be the primate capital of the world; the undecided Hyenas during our morning safari at Murchison Falls National Park; the lioness looking around for breakfast - each day in Uganda seemed to be a “wow moment”.
