Intrepid Gorilla Trekking - Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda

We took a 16-day overland African camping adventure that culminated in close encounters with chimpanzees and gorillas in Uganda. We got to roam the verdant plains, rainforests, papyrus-fringed lakes and acacia woodlands of Kenya and Uganda’s game parks, from Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Maasai Mara Reserve. And some took the chance to go on a day trip to Rwanda's capital, Kigali, to learn about the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. All along the way, we spotted lions, rhinos, antelopes, hippos, and even a leopard in their natural habitats.
